1. Who we are

Borderforms ("we", "us") operates this website and provides an online form builder. You can reach us at support@borderforms.com.

2. The service

Borderforms lets you create forms and collect responses. Each form is controlled by three secret links: one edits the form, one reads and erases its responses, one is the public form itself. Whoever holds a link holds that power; the links are the only access there is. Free forms require no account and no email address.

3. Your links are your access

Keep your links safe and share them deliberately. We cannot tell one holder of a link from another, so anyone you give a link to can do everything that link allows. A free form whose links are lost cannot be recovered, by you or by us. Forms attached to a Premium plan can be recovered through the plan's billing email.

4. Premium and payment

Premium is a paid subscription bought through Stripe; your card details never reach our servers. One plan covers every form you attach to it and is managed through its own secret link. You can cancel any time through the billing portal; cancelling stops future charges. When a plan lapses, its premium features turn off, but your forms and their responses are not deleted.

If the service has not delivered what you paid for, contact us and we will put it right or refund you.

5. Your content

Your forms and the responses they collect are yours. You are responsible for what your forms publish and what data they ask of the people filling them in, and you must have the right to collect it. You can delete a form, or any response to it, at any time; because there are no accounts, deleting is immediate and cannot be undone by you or by us.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Borderforms unlawfully. In particular, forms must not impersonate others, collect passwords or payment card numbers, distribute malware, or be used to harass or defraud. We may take down forms and refuse service where we suspect abuse or fraud.

7. Service limitations

We aim to keep the service fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose, starting with your links.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.

10. Governing law

We operate from the United Kingdom. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Where you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
